Profiles for Digital Printing at Fine Print Imaging
The following instructions will guide you through a process for soft proofing an image and preparing your file for output.
Download the profile by clicking on the link on the ICC Profiles link here. Be sure to save the file in the appropriate folder so Photoshop knows where to find it. If you are running a Mac with OS 9, place the profile in the ColorSync folder.

Once the profile is saved in the appropriate folder, you can open your image in Photoshop. If your image is not already in the Adobe RGB 1998 work space please convert it by selecting (Image – Mode – Convert to Profile) from the top menu bar. Use Adobe Ace as the Engine, and Perceptual as the intent for converting. For a more accurate soft proof, you can apply the profile by selecting (View – Proof Setup – Custom) in the menu bar at the top of the screen. Select Perceptual for the intent and the appropriate profile. As long as your monitor is properly calibrated, you should be viewing a fairly accurate soft proof that is ready for final adjustments and modifications.
